 Barog market is small in size but all basic facilities are provided by it like Hotels, Daily Needs Shops, Food Corners etc. There is no fuel pump at Barog so before coming, fill your engines.


Barog Tunnel

           Barog Tunnel  is the biggest tunnel in the UNESCO Heritage Kalka-Shimla Railway Line; it is 1143.61 m long.


Barog Railway Station

   It is away from main Barog market and it is a mini railway station with ticket counter, canteen and toilet facilities.


   


How to Reach 

 

To reach Barog you have to take Kumarhatti - Barog - Solan Bypass Road, which is connected to the Kalka-Shimla National Highway. 


If you come from Kalka side then Kumarhatti is the place where the bypass road is derived and from Shimla side you will find the bypass from Solan City.
