          Ruda is a very small village and nearer to Sadhupul, Solan in Himachal Pradesh. It is 2 km from Sadhupul in the direction of Kandaghat. It is famous for Hindu God Lord Ram Temple.

Idols

                                                    Shri Ram Parivar ( Lord Rama's Family) idols are the main attraction of the temple, because these idols are made with Ashdhatu (eight materials) including bronze, brass, silver, gold and diamond etc. Shri Ram effigy is 10 ft high, so it is the biggest idol of Ram in the world.


  Except Ram Parivar there is also many other Hindu Gods and Goddesses idols in the Temple, like - 

Shri Parshurama, Maa Durga, Nav Grah, Shri Radha-Krishna, Shivlinga and  Shri Hnuman.


Gyarah Mukhi Hanuman and a SheshNag sculpture is situated outside the temple.




How to Reach


                Coming from Kandaghat is convenient to all, Ramlok is 12 km from  Kandaghat. After 11 km from Kandaghat you will see the station is 'Machine' then you have to choose Basha Link road from here, then after 1 km you will reach your destination.
