Road

                      Kasauli road is derived from Dharampur and it is 10 km from  Kasauli by Major District Road 10.This road comes through Garkhal town, which is situated 3 km behind Kasauli.


Market

     The whole Kasauli market is basically divided into  3 parts, first Lower, secondly Upper and third is Saddar market. Kasauli is full with accommodation facilities and provides all basic requirements things like fueling and grocery etc.


Bus Stand

      Kasauli bus stand is even small in size but also provides paid car parking. Mainly local busses are came to here, from Solan or Dharampur side.


Gilbert Trail

    Gilbert Trail is a good tracking area at Kasauli with its picturesque views. In the trail you will find the Lover's point and Sun - set point. 


Monkey Point

                 On the hill top, Monkey point is Known for a temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is a beautiful temple with greenery and near to the North Zone Air Force Radar Center.

                 

Baptist Church

        It is a green roofed church, which was made in the colonial ruling time. There is a Clock Tower into the church campus.


Kasauli Brewery

                 This brewery was made by the Mohan Meakin. It is well known for scotch whiskey and 'Solan No. 1' is the famous brand name of it.


CRI (Central Research Institute)

    This institute is made for vaccines of polio, DTP and dog bites. Institute also provides Master degree program in Microbiology.    

How to Reach

     

     Dharampur is the main station at Kalka - Shimla National Highway to go to Kasauli from Kalka/Delhi or Shimla side. Kasauli is 25 km from Kalka and  72 km from Shimla.

         It is 3 km from Kasauli in the direction of Dharampur. Speciality - Baba Balak Nath temple.


Dharampur

      It is 10 km from Kasauli, on the Kalka - Shimla National Highway. Speciality - Tuberculosis Sanatorium.
