 Shimla town is situated along the Shimla-Kalka National Highway 5. And many Link roads are divided for different places inside the city.

Railway Station, Shimla

       Shimla railway station is the last station in Kalka-Shimla Railway Line. Station is the largest in size to any other railway station of Himachal Pradesh. Station has ticket/reservation counters, canteen, toilet, retiring room, porters and private taxis facilities. It is located beside the Cart Road of Shimla. 



ISBT, Shimla

    ISBT ( Inter State Bus Terminal) Shimla, is an advanced bus stand in the perspective of Himachal Pradesh. Inter-state and inter district busses are founded  from here. There are accommodation and entertainment facilities available for travelers at ISBT, Shimla.

The Ridge

        Ridge is situated into the heart of the town. It is an open and huge area to spend some quality time with a loved one or family. There is Christ Church, Gaiety Theater, snacks shops and three of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr.Ys Parmar and Indira Gandhi's statues are installed at Ridge. It is situated between the Lakkar Bazar and Scandal point of Shimla.

The Mall Road, Shimla

      Mall road is a shopping hub of Shimla, here you will find world famous brands and non-branded shops for shopping. There are restaurants,  bakery and street food shops also at.


Kali Bari Temple

                Kali Bari temple is the temple of Maa Kali. It is  500-600 m. away from the Ridge. 


Jakhu Temple

           It is situated at Jakhu hill of Shimla and the temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, A Giant sculpture of Lord Hanuman is also installed there, which is easily seen from the Ridge. It is 4 km above from Ridge.

IIAS, Shimla

  IIAS (Indian Institute of Advanced Study) is Situated on the observatory hill of Shimla. Now, it is a research institute. But in the colonial period, it was the house of viceroys of India.


Sanjhauli 

   Dhingu Mata temple and a few metres away Dhali tunnel is situated at Sanjhauli.It is a well populated area of Shimla.
