  The Mall Road of Shimla is located beside the Ridge. It is a major shopping and hangout centre of Shimla. Roadside is filled with shopping malls or shops and other buildings. This road is closed for ordinary private vehicles, only registered or government vehicles could run through it.

Market

    The Mall road is linked with the Cart road of Shimla, and it is also the way to the Ridge. Mall Road is a major shopping center of Shimla, there are so many different brands showrooms are available and it also gives the way to the Lower and the Upper markets. The Lower and the Upper market is filled with street side mini shops.

Gaiety Complex

            

       Gaiety Complex has two entries, first entry gate is open next to the Mall Road and second the Ridge side. It is a colonial time constructed complex and its theater is the main attraction.


Scandal Point

           Scandal Point is a place, where the Mall is connected with the Ridge Road. This place is named after the historical scandal, when Maharaja Patiyala was eloped with the daughter of British Viceroy.

           

Kali Bari Temple 

          Temple is located beside the Mall road and this Maa Kali temple is mainly under the maintenance of Bengalis (people from West Bengal).

   To find the Mall road in Shimla, take the Cart road which is well connected to the Kalka-Shimla National Highway 5. You will find the link to Mall road near to the Old Bus Stand of Shimla.
