Bhurshing Mahadev Temple

Bhurshing Mahadev temple situated beautifully at the top of the hill. It is about 1 and a half kilometres from NH and the nearest Bus Stop known as Panwa Bus Stop. It is a small temple of Lord Shiva . The temple provides a magical view of hills. It is a Tourist place under the Tourism of Himachal Pradesh. Due to its popularity within the tourists.It is also a picturesque point among the people.
BRIEF HISTORY
There are many stories about the making of the temple. But most believe that the temple was made by two brothers and sisters . They used to stay near these hills. According to fables the temple is a symbol of faith and love to God by both of them. The Bhurshing Mahadev is another face of Hindu Lord Shiva. The valley people prayed Bhurshing dev as their Ishat Dev or Main Dev. Locals assume them as a deity of milk. There is a big stone on one side of the temple, people offer milk and ghee on that stone . On the day of Bhurshing fare the mandir pandit used to go on that stone .
HOW TO REACH
The temple is on the Kumarhatti-Nahan NH. It is about 1 and a half kilometer from the Bus Stop Panwa. There is a motorable road to the temple. On the way to the temple you can see hoarding of the temple on the sides of NH by Himachal Tourism for guidance of path. The temple closes at 5:00P.M.
