     It is a district of Himachal Pradesh. The district is also known as Lord Shiva Nagri. Chamba district touches the boundaries with Jammu and Kashmir state on the Northwest, Kangra district on the Southeast and Punjab state on the South side.

    It is a famous hill station in the district Chamba, and  it is 53 km away from Chamba city.


Khajjiar 

     It is another hill station in the district. There is a Khajji Nag temple and Khajjiar lake located.It is 23 km away from Chamba city.


Minjar Fair

     This fair is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of the Hindu month Shraavana Mas. The fair provides many picturesque views of the Chamba and Himachali culture.



Brief History


  Chamba was made a part of the British India in 1846 and after the independence of the country, it had become a part of the state (Himachal Pradesh) in 1948.
