 Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh of India. District Shimla is well known for its snow covered and fir trees loaded forests beauty. Lavi Fair

   This is an international fair, held at the market of Rampur, every year in the month of November or December. This fair is 400 year old and celebrated to commemorate the mutual trade treaty between  Rampur Bushahar and Tibet.


Tara Devi Temple

   Maa Tara devi temple is situated at the top of the hill and a road derives from Shoghi to reach the temple by vehicles.


Kufri 

   Kufri is another hill station in Shimla district and it is 15 km away from Shimla city. Kufri zoo and many other things are the attractions of this hill station.


Tattapani

   Shimla to Tattapani distance is 60 km and this place is famous for its  hot water source.


Chanshal Pass

  Highest peak of the district Shimla and it connects Rohru and Dodra Kwar. The Pass provided picturesque views of the valley and it is about 160 km away from Shimla town.

    In 1864, Shimla was declared the summer capital of the British India. Before it, Shimla was under the rule of Gurkhas.  Now it is the capital of the state and a district of Himachal Pradesh.
