    Saproon is named after Saproon Valley. Saproon is famous for Gurudwara Sahib and Bypass. Saproon Bypass connects the Mall Road to Kalka-Shimla National Highway and another Subathu Link road is connected at Dohri Diwar of Saproon.

How to Reach


It is situated beside the  Kalka-Shimla National Highway. When you come from the Kalka side then Saproon is the first station in Solan city and if you come from the Shimla side then it comes after ISBT Solan.

   Barog is known for its 1143.61 metre long railway tunnel. There is a railway station,bus stop and a small market at Barog. It is 9 km from ISBT Solan.

      It is a 965 metre long tunnel at Kalka-Shimla National Highway and it is a one way traffic tunnel with motion sensing lighting.
