Solan has 4km. long Mall Road. It's both sides (i.e. Saproon Bypass and Chambaghat Bypass) are connected to the Kalka-Shimla National Highway. 

Beside the Mall Road has a plethora of Shops, Solan has 4km. long Mall Road. It's both sides (i.e. Saproon Bypass and Chambaghat Bypass) are connected to the Kalka-Shimla National Highway.

  If you come to Solan and not visit the Mall, I'm sure you wouldn't explore Solan City. 

Following things can help you to imagine Mall Road view:-

 

Road Structure 


    It is a two way traffic road. It connects the market to National Highway.

 Both sides of the Mall Road have filled with a great number of Shops, Malls, Hotels, Restaurants  and world wide famous Branded stores.

Gardens

              There are 3  gardens beside the Road

 It seems to be the oldest park in City.



  1. Jawahar Park: 

 It is a few metres away from the Mall Road but it's scenic  view and peace give you much pleasure.

   In the evening, the Mall Road is closed for vehicular entry for two hours, not the whole Mall Road but Old Bus Stand to that point where the Rajgarh Road is connected. It is Good time to explore the Solan Mall Market by foot.

A way to Old Market is derived from The Mall Road. Old Market entry is Opposite to the Old Bus Stand of Solan.

 

Way to Solan  Railway Station

  A way (200 m. length) is derived from Mall Road to Railway Station.




Where It is Located


 The Mall Road  is well connected to the National Highway. To enter into the Mall Road by National Highway, there have two following bypasses:


Saproon Bypass:-

 This is convenient to  those who come from Delhi -Chandigarh side.


Chambaghat Bypass:

      Chambaghat bypass is good to those who come from Shimla side.


              The Mall Road is an fine  source to go to Rajgarh, because Rajgarh Road is mainly connected with it.

Jatoli Shiv Temple, Solan; Himachal Pradesh (India)

Jatoli Shiv Mandir    The temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva. Completing the construction work of the temple took 39 years. It is the highest temple of Asia with 111 feet height.
